TELL US YOUR STORY OF WHY YOU LOVE GYMNASTICS!
In celebration of National Gymnastics Week, Gymnastics Canada is excited to announce the Gym Revolution Video Challenge! And we’re looking for you to get involved!  We want to see a video of you and your friends telling us your gymnastics story and why you LOVE Gymnastics!

You could win:

 

A 5 day trip for two from a gateway city, including accommodation and VIP passes for the 2012 Viterra Canadian Gymnastics Championships!! The winner will also have a chance to dine in style while getting up close and personal with Olympic Champion Kyle Shewfelt!

 

There are a million ways to interpret LOVE and the definition is completely up to you! Here are a few ideas:

  • Show it through movement- a flash mob dance with your entire club, a lip dub performance with your group, a mini routine that you love to perform, a favourite skill you just learned, or even your reaction as you watch the Olympics on TV!
  • Show it through words- a mini interview, a quote that inspires you, a poem about your coach, or even a great day you had at the gym.

The possibilities are endless, and all participants are encouraged to be as creative as possible with how they tell their story.  We are excited to receive a variety of entries from all ages, group sizes, abilities, and disciplines. Participants must be 6 years of age or older, and videos must be under 3 minutes in length in order to qualify for the ULTIMATE GRAND PRIZE!

 

HOW TO ENTER
Gymnastics Canada has a created a YouTube channel to showcase the Video Challenge enteries. Following the completion of your video, create a YouTube account and upload your video (Click HERE for a Step by Step guide of how to upload a video on YouTube)! Then, download and complete the submission form  and send it along with the link of your video to NGW-SNG@gymcan.org . We will start accepting videos Monday January 9th, 2012, and voting (YouTube "likes") will start. We will "favourite" all videos, so they all can be viewed on our channel.
